KATUNI (The Cartoonists Association of East Africa) with the aid of the Swiss embassy came together to arrange an exhibition, a workshop and a public forum on Ethnicity and the search for a Kenyan National identy. This was to coincide with the first visit of Patrick Chappatte - an internationally acclaimed cartoonist.
The project aimed at creating short clips done by select cartoonists on the theme.
A documentary was also done on the 'making of' the short clips. The clips involved shooting from directly above the cartoonists on a specially constructed rig to capture every stroke as the cartoon was drawn.
